Shared or dedicated CPU?
The difference is the CPU, not the numbers on paper. On the shared plans the server's cores are shared with others — fine for websites and projects with variable load. On the dedicated plans, every vCPU is a physical core reserved for you alone. That gives steady performance even when the server runs hard around the clock, on the newest hardware we have at that location. RAM and storage can look the same — but the CPU is a different class.

Do I get full root access?
Yes. You have full root from the start and can install and configure exactly as you like.
What's the difference between shared and dedicated CPU?
On a shared plan you share physical CPU cores with others. That’s plenty for most websites. On a dedicated plan the cores are entirely yours, so performance stays steady even under sustained full load. Choose dedicated if the server will work hard continuously.
Can I switch operating system later?
Yes, the server can be reinstalled with a different image. Get in touch and we will sort it.
Why does the price vary between locations?
Our cost varies between data centres and we mirror that. You see the final price in the configurator before you order.
How is the server set up?
For now we set up each VPS manually after ordering and send you the access details by email.
Do you offer Windows?
Not right now. We are focusing on Linux distros this round.
